Fresher's Squash

Hello everyone and welcome back for the new academic year/welcome to your first year at Cambridge! We at CUKS hope that everyone has been settling in well and we are delighted to announce our first event of the year: the annual Freshers’ Squash! Everyone is invited, whether fresher or not.

Date: Saturday, 8th October

Time: 6:30 - 8:00pm (+ pub afterwards!)

Location: Main Hall, St. Paul’s Church (CB2 1JP)
Price: Free

We plan for this to be a relaxed and informal event where students can socialise with each other after a brief introduction to CUKS and the opportunity to sign up for official membership! Welcome drinks and refreshments will be provided :). This will be a great opportunity for freshers to find out more about CUKS and life at Cambridge in general, and to get to know more of the Korean student community at the university. Furthermore, after 8pm we have planned a group pub trip to the Cambridge Blue so we hope to see as many people there as possible!

The membership fee for CUKS has been reduced since last year, so it is only £10 this year. For those who don’t yet have a British bank account or those who would like a quick sign-up process, we will accept cash payments so please remember to bring £10 worth of cash if this applies to you!

안녕하세요! CUKS의 2022-23 Academic year 첫 이벤트인 Freshers’ Squash에 여러분들을 초대합니다!
CUKS에 대한 간단한 소개 세션 및 멤버십 사인업 후 welcome drinks와 refreshments와 같이 서로 자유롭게 얘기하고 소셜라이징 할 수 있는 시간을 가질 예정입니다. 특히 신입생 분들에게는 CUKS 대해 알아보고 동기 및 선배들과 만나볼 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다. 또한 8시 이후 2차가 The Cambridge Blue에서 이루어질 예정이니 다들 많은 참석 부탁드립니다.
CUKS의 올해 멤버십 가격은 작년 대비 인하된 10GBP로 책정이 되었으며, 아직 영국 계좌가 없으신 신입생 분들이나 멤버십 선 사인업을 원하시는 분들은 Squash에 현금을 지참하여 주시면 사인업을 도와드릴 예정이니 꼭 기억해주시길 바랍니다!
